Ruger, Model Gunsite Scout, CAL: .308 WIN, MFG: Modern, SN: 680-51797, Bolt Action Rifle, 16 1/2'' barrel, 19'' with muzzle break. The original checkered & flat pistol grip black laminated wood stock is excellent, displaying virtually no wear. The original metal matte black finish rates 100%. Excellent bore. Free-floating, cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel. Built-in, accurate sighting system, with adjustable ghost ring rear aperture sight & a non-glare, protected blade front sight. Forward-mounted Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of modern optics. Integral scope mounts, machined directly on the solid-steel receiver. Non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor. One-piece, stainless steel bolt. Three-position safety. Soft-rubber buttpad with factory buttpad spacers allows the rifle to be properly sized for different shooters, current LOP 13 1/4'' over pad. Factory sling studs. Detachable 10 round steel box magazine, with push-forward magazine release. Comes with two additional Ruger factory plastic 10 round mags. Basically a nearly new condition modern sporting rifle.
