Winchester, Model 1890, 2nd variation, .22 WRF, Cal., MFG. 1907, SN: 317523, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with excellent original finish thinning at the carry points. There are minor handling marks, thin scratches & contusions. The metal blue finish on the barrel has toned to a grayish/brown color, with 75% coverage & with numerous spotty areas of light pitting or speckling. The mag tube finish has worn to 50% coverage of a thinning brown patina. The receiver appears to have been case-hardened, with the case-colors worn away to gun metal gray & having a thin spotty brown patina. The rifle is fitted with a Lyman large disk aperture tang sight, a standard adjustable rear & a Lyman half moon blade & ivory bead front sights. Bore is excellent. Crescent metal buttplate. Smooth tight action. A very nice all original WRF with an upgraded sight package. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
