Winchester, Model 57 Target, .22 LONG R. Cal., MFG: 1927-37, SN: 28682, Bolt Action Rifle, Mag fed, 22'' barrel, with barrel band. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent & solid, with minor handling marks & scuffs to the original finish, with an added layer of protective finish. The metal blue finish was restored after professionally filling holes in the barrel on either side of the rear dovetail & two holes on the top of the receiver. The finish remains at 80% on the barrel, 20% on the receiver, with finish on the barrel band & trigger guard worn & toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. Military style target rifle, with correct Lyman peep sight, sling swivels, & ''Winchester'' stamped mag. Barrel fitted with folding leaf rear & blade front sights. Stock carries a checkered steel buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
