Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Model Champion , CAL: 410 GA, MFG: 1905-08, SN: 85764, Break Action Single Shot Shotgun, 26'' barrel. The pistol grip wood stocks are very good & solid, but there is a small chip at the toe & a 3'' stress crack at the tip of the forend. There are several nicks, scratches & dings to the original finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 40%. The receiver has faded case-coloring, with a few spots of rust pitting & speckling. The receiver is marked ''Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works - Fitchburg. MASS. U.S.A.'' & ''Champion'' on the left side. Bore is excellent. Single front bead. Buttstock carries a owl's head black plastic buttplate, with a 1/2'' chip at toe. LOP: 14''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
