Pedersoli, Gibbs Rifle, CAL: 45, MFG: Modern, SN: DA115908, Percussion Blackpowder Rifle, 36'' barrel. The checkered & capped pistol grip stock, with ebony forend tip is excellent. The belly of the stock has a blank silver oval nameplate. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 99%. The case-hardened side plate, hammer, trigger guard & wedge all retain vivid case-colors. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a large Creedmoor aperture tang sight & the barrel has a hooded level front sight, with interchangeable reticles. Stock has a smooth metal buttplate. The Pedersoli Gibbs Muzzleloading Rifle is a reproduction of one of the most famous rifles in the field of precision target shooting. Made in 1865 by the English gunsmith George Gibbs this rifle was made to satisfy both the aesthetic & utilitarians who wish to compete in longer range shoots.
