Ramseyer, Plains Rifle, CAL: 45, MFG: N/A, SN: 3???, Percussion Muzzleloader Rifle, 29'' octagon barrel. The cheeked straight grip wood stock is excellent. The door of the integral patch holder is faintly marked ''RAMSEYER'', with ornamental accents. There are contusions & scrapes to the finish. The restored metal blue finish on the barrel has toned to a mix of metal blue & brown patina. The SN & markings have been buffed smooth. The case-hardened sidelock & hammer retain vivid case-colors. The brass hardware is excellent, with a thin aged patina. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Stock has a crescent brass buttplate that's slightly oversized. Ramrod present. Double set triggers. Blackpowder, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 800
