Springfield, Model: 1842 Musket, Cal: .69, MFG: 1851, Antique, S/N, N/A, Percussion musket muzzle loader, 42'' round barrel. The straight wrist walnut stock is very good with nicks, dings, scratches & wear from use/age, ''XIX'' hand etched into bottom of stock Infront of trigger guard. The metal is bare steal with patina near hammer from firing. Lock plate is marked with a eagle over ''U.S.'', ''SPRING'', ''FIELD'', ''1851'', top of barrel is marked ''V'', ''P'', over eagle, ''X'' has been hand etched into lower tang. Bore is fair has some light pitting & rust. Small front sight blade on front barrel band. Steel butt plate. Bottom sling loops, has ram rod. Antique/Muzzleloader. No FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
