Remington. Model: 1917. Cal: 30-06. MFG: 1918. S/N: 1052418. Bolt action Rifle. 26'' Barrel. The semi Pistol grip wooden stock is very good with minor scratches, dings, & wear from use/age, no visible cartouches on stock. The metal finish rates 85% overall with worn bluing on the edges. Top of receiver is marked ''U.S.'', ''MODEL OF 1917'', ''EDDYSTONE'' & S/N, end of barrel is marked ''E'', flaming bomb, ''11-18''. Bore is very good, bright with roughness near muzzle. Blade Front sight with protective wings, aperture ladder rear sight marked 2 to 16. Metal trapdoor Butt plate that has wear & roughness. A excellent example of a WW1 US Rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
