ROF Fazakerley, Model: No4 Mk2, Cal: .303 British, MFG: 1955, S/N: A4944, Bolt action rifle, 25 1/4'' Barrel. The original semi-pistol grip beech wood stock is excellent with minor nicks, ding, scratches & wear from very light use, S/N marked in stock on bottom near muzzle, faint cartouches on bottom of wrist. The original metal finish on these rifles was blued then coated with Suncorite which is a bake on finish, the metal finish rates 95% overall with very little wear, right side of front barrel has some light rust pitting & discoloring. Left side of receiver is marked, ''No4 MK 2'', ''UF 55'', & S/N, right end of barrel is stamped with importer markings, S/N matched Bolt, magazine, & stock. Bore is excellent, bright & mirror like with no visible wear. Blade front sight with protective ears, two position flip up ladder aperture rear sight marked 2 to 13. brass trapdoor Butt plate with original pull through inside. Bottom sling swivels. A excellent looking rifle that probably never got used & just sat in a warehouse. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 350 to 700
