Chinese Factory 416, Model: M21 (Type 56 SKS), Cal: 7.62x39, MFG: 1978, S/N: 23015182, Semi-auto Rifle, 20 1/2'' Barrel. The semi-Pistol grip wood stock is excellent with minor wear, left side of the stock is marked with the last 6 #'s of S/N. The metal finish rates 95% overall with minor wear. Left side of receiver is marked ''416M21'' & S/N, bottom of barrel is marked with importer stamps, all parts are S/N matched. Bore is Excellent, bright & mirror like. Hooded post front sight, tangent U-notch rear sight marked 1 to 10. Steel trapdoor Butt plate with full cleaning kit inside, has a rubber recoil pad over steel butt plate. One bottom & one side sling mount, missing cleaning rod & bayonet. The M21 rifles were made by various Chinese arsenals specially for export as military aid in secret mainly to the north Vietnamese troops, so they have no official Chinese markings on them, most of them were given to the north Vietnamese for use in the Vietnam war.
