Sendra Corp (Dutch Upper), Model: Portuguese AR-10, Cal: 7.62mm NATO, MFG: 1990's (Upper 1960's), S/N: 23018, Semi-auto rifle. The original Bakelite stock, handguard, & pistol grip are good, they have heavy wear from hard use but are still fully intact. The metal finish rates 85% overall with light wear. Left side of lower receiver is marked ''AR10'', ''SENDRA CORP'', ''BARRINGTON. IL'', & S/N, left side of upper receiver is marked with British proof marks, ''CAL.7.62mm.NATO-007445''. Bore is very good, bright with light roughness. Barrel holds a post front sight with protective wings, rear sight has been removed to put on a Leopold Vari-X 3x9 Compact scope, does not come with the original rear sight aperture. Stock carries the original rubber recoil pad. Side sling mounts. Comes with one original 20 Rd ''Waffle'' mag, & a green canvas M1 Garand sling. This was a originally a Dutch made gun that was used by Portugal in the 60's till the 90', when it was surplused & made into a parts kit, they shipped everything but the lower receiver over to the states, & it was re-built on a US made Sendra Corp lower. A excellent example of the early makings of the common AR-15. FFL Req. - Value: 2500 to 5000
