Springfield Armory, Model: M1A, Cal: 7.62x51mm, MFG: 1977-78, S/N: 008614, Semi-auto rifle, 25 '' barrel. The semi pistol grip walnut stock is excellent with minor ding/wear, the polymer upper handguard has a 2 small hairline crack at rear from the receiver. The metal finish rates 85% overall with light wear & scratches. Rear of receiver is marked ''U.S. RIFLE'', ''7.62-MM M1A'', ''SPRINGFIELD ARMORY'', & S/N, top end of barrel is marked ''NM''. Bore is very good, bright with light roughness. Blade front sight with protective wings, rear fully adjustable aperture rear sight, also comes with a Springfield armory ART II 3x9 scope S/N: 7059, & a scope mount for the rifle & scope. Steel checkered trapdoor butt plate with a flip up shoulder rest. Bottom sling loops, comes with green canvas M1 Garand sling, one 20 Rd mag, & one bayonet with sheath/frog, reference lot #'s 5810, 5811, & 5812 for magazines for this rifle. The M1A is just the civilian version of the M14 & is made with all the same parts just made semi-auto. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
