Colt, Official Police Pre-War, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1939, SN: 13808, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The Colt logo medallion pre-war checkered walnut grips are very good & solid. There is consistent overall wear to the grips. Confirmed pre-war grips by the three stud holes visible on the reverse top of both grip panels. The original metal blue finish rates 85% overall, with spotting/speckling toned to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. Square notch rear groove & blade front sight. A desirable .22LR variation of an Official Police Revolver. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 900
