Smith & Wesson, .32-20 Hand Ejector Model of 1905 4th Change, CAL: 32 WCF, MFG: 1915-25, SN: 86364, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. All matching SN on the butt, cylinder face & bottom barrel flat. There is a two line address & patent date on the top of the barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked ''SMITH & WESSON'' & the right side of the barrel is marked ''.32 WCF CTG''. There are no markings on the frame. The S&W brass logo medallion checkered wood grips are excellent. There are minor dings & scrapes to the finish. The nickel finish rates 85% overall. There are areas of oxidization, with spotting/speckling toned to a brown patina. The case-hardened hammer & trigger retain visible case-colors. Bore is very good & bright, with rough patches. Rear groove & blade front sight. This example has the heat treated cylinder, this change started at SN 81287. S&W handguns chambered in .32-20 were discontinued prior to WWII & were never resumed.
