Ruger, Super Single-Six Convertible, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1969, SN: 555809, Single Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The Ruger logo medallion wood grips are excellent. There are minor contusions & scrapes to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 85% & the frame rates 90%. There's holster wear on the muzzle, cylinder & frame. Bore is excellent. Adjustable rear sight & block elevated blade front sight. When Ruger started making the Single-Six ''Old Model'' it was a fixed sight revolver with no magnum cylinder. In 1959, they made a ''Magnum Single-Six'', sold with a 22 RF Magnum cylinder only & fixed sights. The ''Convertible Single-Six'' was introduced in 1962, had both a 22 LR & 22 rimfire magnum cylinders, but still with fixed sights. Adjustable sights were added to the ''Old Model'' Convertible in 1964 & it was named ''Super Single-Six''. The roll stamp on the frame never included the word ''Super'', but the original box most likely said ''Super Single-Six'' on the end label. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
