BOXED, Iver Johnson (Uberti), Cattleman, CAL: 44-40, MFG: 1973-78, SN: 41751, Single Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The wood grips are excellent. There are a few scrapes & dings to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel, ejector rod housing & cylinder rates 97%. The barrel is beginning to tone plum. The case-hardened frame retains vivid case-colors, with smokey undertones. The brass trigger guard & backstrap also have an aged patina. Bore is excellent. Groove & blade sights. Comes in IJ factory SN matching box. Box condition is good, with age soiling, corner & edge wear. Between 1973 & 1978, Uberti manufactured over 22,000 single-action Cattleman revolvers. In 1974 [Uberti] made & exported 2138 of the guns to the United States for distribution by Iver Johnson. FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 500
