SCARCE, Webley, Mark IV, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1946-50, SN: A15153, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The barrel rib is marked ''WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM''. The left side of the revolver is marked ''MARK IV (.22 LONG RIFLE)'' above the cylinder & has clear standard proof marks. The right side of the revolver is marked with the Webley Trademark logo & ''MADE IN ENGLAND'' above the cylinder. The Webley diamond checkered plastic grips are excellent. There is light overall wear to both grips. The original metal blue finish rates 85% overall. Bore is excellent. Adjustable rear sight & pinned blade front sight. Collectors will pay a premium for .22LR examples as most commercial models were produced in .38 S&W or .380. A nice example of a scarce .22LR Webley Mark IV. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
