Hawes Firearms Co, ''J.P Sauer & Sohn'', Western Marshal, CAL: 357 MAG, MFG: 1968, SN: 3-22897, Single Action Revolver, 5 7/8'' barrel. The wood grips are excellent. There are handling marks & minor scrapes to the finish. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall. The barrel & cylinder have toned to a plum patina. Bore is excellent. Groove & blade sights. These revolvers were known for accidental discharges & the Hawes Firearms Co went out of business after several lawsuits. We recommend this revolver be checked by a licensed gunsmith before firing.
