Continental, Model ''Velo-Dog'' Hammerless, CAL: 8mm, MFG: 1890's - 1930's, SN: 10, Double Action Folding Trigger Revolver, 2 1/4'' octagon barrel. The top of the frame is marked ''CONTINENTAL'', the left side of the frame is marked ''CART 8 m/mL'', the right side of the frame bears a ''star over V'' proof mark, followed by the same thing on the barrel, below a ''crown over R''. The checkered hard rubber grips are good, they display contusions & dings (mainly to right grip), with smoothing worn checkering. The case-hardened finish on the frame has toned to a mix of metal grey/light brown patina, with remnants of case-coloring in protected areas. The cylinder & barrel are blued, retaining 50% coverage, toning to a dark brown patina. Bore is very good, with areas of roughness. The barrel holds a half-moon blade front sight & small fixed notch rear sight on the frame. Thumb safety. Action & cylinder timing appear to function properly. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
