Mauser, Model: P08 Luger, Cal: 9x19mm, MFG: 1939, S/N: 5963a, Semi-auto Pistol, 3 7/8'' barrel. The checkered wood grips are very good with normal wear from use. The metal finish on the frame rates 75% with wear marks & overall thinning, the metal finish on the barrel rates 70% with finish wear/thinning from holstering, some parts of barrel still have deep bluing. Front of trigger guard is marked with the S/N, left side of the frame is marked with the S/N, right side of the frame is marked with two eagle over ''63'' & a Reichsadler ''Iron Eagle'' proof mark, top of frame is marked ''1939'', top of toggle is marked ''42'', the barrel is marked with the S/N, & a Reichsadler ''Iron Eagle'' proof mark, all small components are marked with the last two numbers of S/N (ALL Numbers matching). Bore is very good, bright with minor roughness throughout. Barrel holds a checkered barleycorn front sight with a fixed V-notch rear sight. Pistol comes with one 8 round aluminum body wooden base magazine, & a original brown leather holster, back of holster is marked ''R.EHRHARDT'', ''POESSNECK'', ''1938'', faint Nazi proof mark also on back. A excellent beginning war P08 Luger that's in all original condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 3000
