CASED, Colt, Model 1911 American Historical Foundation, WWII 50th Anniversary: Battle of Coral Sea & Midway Island, CAL: 45 AUTO, MFG: 2000, SN: 2795345/MC-002, Semi Auto Pistol, 5'' barrel. The faux ivory grips are excellent. The left grip is marked with a commemorative scene & wording. The right grip is marked ''WWII 50th Anniversary'' around the Rampant Colt logo. The left side of slide is marked in three lines 'IN HONOR OF THE BATTLE OF THE CORAL SEA AND MIDWAY ISLAND 4 MAY 1942 **** 6 JUNE 1942''. The right side of the slide is blank. Bore is excellent. Factory sights. Comes in a wall-hanging locking presentation case, with navy blue interior, a gold commemorative plaque & case key. FFL Req. - Value: 700 to 1100
