SCARCE, Savage, Model 1915, CAL: .32 Auto (7.65mm), MFG: 1915, SN: 136119, Semi Auto Pistol, 3 3/4'' barrel. Savage manufactured appx 6,502 over the course of two years. In 1915 Savage produced 6,379 & in 1916 only 123, dating this example in late 1915. The original Savage Quality checkered plastic grips are good, the right grip has one crack from edge to edge. Otherwise grips are very good, with minor handling marks. Commonly, Savage grips are fragile & have a tendency to break when removed. The original metal blue finish rates 75% overall, with wear concentrated near the muzzle & grips. Bore is very good, appears grainy. Groove & blade sights. The Model 1915 is the most rare of the Savage Semi-Auto pistols. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
