Very Rare S.W. Evans & Son fishing trap - EAGLE CLAW spring loaded snare or fish trap patented in 1877. This fishing trap is in very good condition and is functional as shown for the intended purpose. It has all 8 hooks that spring close once the trigger is tripped, made of brass, 4 1/2'' OAL, spring mechanism is stamped: PAT. APL. 17-77 S.W. EVANS & SON FRANKFORD Pawell marked.
