Winchester, Model 1894 Custom Built Rifle, marked 30-30, MFG: 1966, SN: 4515347, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Octagon Barrel, Full mag. This rifle was built for the consignor utilizing a vintage 94 receiver & a Vintage N.O.S. Winchester Centennial barrel marked ''A Century of Leadership 1866-1966''. It features gorgeous rippled & flame grain deluxe quality walnut stocks. The stocks carry the original finish with no handling marks. The metal blue finishes are 98% on barrel & mag, 95% on receiver, with the lever, hammer & buttplate blued as well. Bore is excellent. Barrel fitted with a full buckhorn adjustable rear sight & white bead blade front sight. Metal crescent buttplate. Tight smooth action. The cost to reproduce this gun would far exceed the cost to buy it now in the auction. The raw slab of wood to make the stocks would be over $1500 alone. A beautiful custom built Winchester 30-30 rifle & very popular in this caliber.* FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
