RARE Winchester, Model 94 15'' TRAPPER CARBINE, CAL: 30-30 WCF, MFG: 1929, SN: 1051727, Lever Action Carbine, 15'' Round barrel, Full mag. The included factory letter indicates only that the SN was applied on July 25, 1929. Also included is a copy of the ATF C&R exemption log showing the carbine is a 15'' barrel gun, which is exempt & legal for you to own. The smooth walnut straight grip wood stock & forend are excellent, with the expected scattered light dings & minor handling marks, otherwise retaining a very nice overall fit. The forend is the correct shorter 8'' length. The metal blue finish rates 85% on barrel & mag, while the receiver has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin sprinkling of brown patina & spots of original blue in the most protected areas. Bore is unusually excellent for these trappers & way above average. The loading gate & bolt retain much of the original blue. The carbine is fitted with a Lyman tang peep sight, while the barrel carries a replacement adjustable rear & a carbine box & blade front sights. Buttstock carries a smooth carbine metal buttplate. All markings remain intact & strong. The action is tight & smooth & appears to function well mechanically. An excellent example & very collectible as a rare & legal 15'' trapper.
