Winchester Model 88, CAL: 243 WIN, MFG: 1962, SN: 128803A, Lever Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. Pre-64. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock is excellent. It displays some minor handling marks to the excellent original finish, which is only thinning a bit at the front of the pistol grip. The original metal blue finish rates 98% on barrel, 95% on receiver. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a flip-up rear sight & a hooded ramp front sight. Stock carries a the original checkered buttplate. Factory sling swivels. Excellent overall & very collectible in this condition as a pre-64 variation. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 1500 to 2500
