BOXED Winchester Model 94 Wells Fargo & Co. Commemorative, CAL: 30-30, MFG: 1977, SN: WFC311, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' barrel. The left side of the receiver displays an intricate engraving of a Wells Fargo Stage Coach being pulled by horses, bordered by an ornamental pattern & on the right, '' W.F.& CO. 1852'', an image of a W.F. storefront, 1977'' bordered by an ornamental pattern. The checkered, straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with very few tiny handling marks. The stock displays fabulous rippled & feathered grain & includes an inlaid silver W.F. medallion. The metal blue finish rates 98%, with a couple small area of spotting on barrel. The rifle was stored in it's factory box since original purchase, but not always with proper temperture controls & it did cause heavy rust pitting & corosion on the upper & lower tangs & buttplate. The rest of the polished coin silver receiver is excellent, with some light thin surface scratches. Bore is excellent. Factory sights. Buttstock carries a smooth metal buttplate, with rust. Comes in its original box, with hang tag. A beautiful commemorative saddle ring carbine that will need some work to clean-up or repair metal damage on tangs. Only 19,999 produced.
