Marlin Firearms Co. Model 444, CAL: 444 MARLIN, MFG: Late 1960s, SN: AA29738, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Micro-grooved barrel. The original straight grip Monte Carlo wood stocks are very good, as lightly sanded & re-oiled. The stocks have very few handling marks remaining. The original metal blue finish rates 95%. Bore is excellent. Receiver once carried a scope, with some residue remaining on top of receiver. The barrel carries a folding leaf rear & hooded ramp/blade front sight. Sling studs. Gold trigger. Buttstock carries a Marlin ventilated brown rubber recoil pad. JM hammer attachment. Bullseye trademark in belly of the stock. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 800
