Winchester, Model 55 TAKE-DOWN, marked 30 WCF, MFG. 1926, SN: 3527, Lever Action Take-down Rifle, 24 1/4'' Tapered round barrel, 1/2 mag., The original walnut stocks are excellent & solid. The original finish has worn & thinned, with an added coat of finish, that has spder web crinckled. There are minor scuffs, scrapes & contusions. Added wood finish found on receiver, barrel & buttplate. The original metal blue finish rates 70% on barrel & mag, while the receiver has worn almost fully gun metal gray. Bore is very good, with some light roughness. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & small blade front sights, Shotgun style metal buttplate. This 3rd year of production 55 rifle is one only 20,500 model 55 rifles manufactured. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
