Winchester, Model 1885 Low Wall Rifle, Marked: LONG .22 CAL. R.F., MFG. 1886, SN: 5022, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 26'' Octagon #1 marked barrel. The original wood stocks are excellent, with small contusions, scrapes & scratches the original finish. Ebony tipped forend. The original metal blue finish on the barrel has toned to a plum brown patina. Bore is fair, with pitting & roughness amongst thinned rifling. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & pinched blade front sights. Metal crescent buttplate. The # ''1'' is stamped in front of the forend tip on the barrel, for barrel size. A nice looking original & authentic 1885 rifle. Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
