Stevens Arms Company, Crackshot No.26, CAL: 32 RF, SN: None, MFG. 1913-41, Lever falling block take-down rifle, 22'' Round barrel, The original wood stocks are good, having been sanded & refinished. There are two 2'' glue repaired stress cracks at the wrist & a 1'' crack the top of the comb at the buttplate. There remains a few minor handling marks & contusions, along with a large splotch of darker stain on the left side of the stock. The metal on the barrel is a mix of gun metal gray & a thin brown patina. The receiver shows outlines of muted case-colors. Barrel carries a fixed rear sight & a blade front sight. Bore is excellent. Original metal buttplate. Bottom of the receiver is stamped ''8-24-40''. Tight mechanism. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 200
