Remington, Model 2, .32 SHORT or LONG R.F., MFG 1873-1909, SN: 33779, Rolling block single shot rifle. 26 1/8'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip, perch belly wood stocks are very good & solid, showing several small marks & contusions to what appears to bean added layer of finish over the original finish. The schnabel forend has a small chip at the ebony insert. The barrel has toned to an even brown patina, while the case-hardened receiver has faint outlines & remains of case-colors, with the majority faded gun metal gray & a thin brown patina developing. Bore is very good. Barrel an open rear dovetail & a blank filled front dovetail, no sights. The stock carries the original smooth metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
