Winchester Model 70, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1964, SN: 700423, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The checkered, cheeked, & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is very good, displaying several finish level scrapes to the original finish, along with other small handling marks The checkering pattern has the three diamonds in the pistol grip. The metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, 90% on the receiver, & 80% on the floorplate which shows some spotty loss. Bore is excellent. Fitted with a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8 2.5-8 scope on Leupold blocks & rings. The barrel carries screw filled rear sight holes & tall ramp front sight. Buttstock carries a Pachmayr White Line ventilated brown recoil pad. Sling swivels. Matching SN on jeweled bolt. A very nice vintage hunting rifle in the classic 30-06 caliber.
