BOXED Remington, Model 700, CAL: 223, MFG:1972, SN: 6505869, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 3/4'' Heavy barrel. The original cheeked, checkered & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is excellent, with very few handling marks or contusions to the original high gloss finish. There is one 3'' scratch/scrape across the cheek on the left side of stock & some finish chipping along pistol grip edge. The stock carries an ebony toned forend tip & pistol grip cap. The original metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a Redfield 6-16x scope on Redfield block, while the barrel is tapped with factory sight provisions for rear sight, no rear sight provision. Stock carries a Remington checkered plastic buttplate. Sling studs missing. Comes with the original box, which is excellent. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
