Custom Rifle, Built on a Rock Island 1903 Action, CAL: 7X57, MFG:1906 (action), SN: 61948, Bolt Action Rifle, 24 1/2'' Half octagon half round barrel. A fantastic custom built rifle utilizing a U.S. made Rock Island 1903 military rifle action. The custom checkered, cheeked & flat pistol grip walnut stock is excellent, with a hand rubbed oil finish. Beautiful grain & hand checkering. The metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, floorplate & trigger guard, 80% on the receiver toning to a plum brown tone. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a Leupold Gold Ring M8-4X scope, while the barrel carries an adjustable rear & ramped blade front sights. Stock carries a solid rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. Excellent overall.
