Sporterized Rifle, Built from a U.S. Springfield 1903 Action, CAL: 30-06, MFG:1911 (action), SN: 477999, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 3/4'' Round barrel. The replaced cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is very good, but with finish wear, particularly at the wrist & numerous small scratches, scrapes & contusions to the stock's original finish. The stock a black plastic forend tip & pistol grip cap. The metal blue finish rates 75% overall. The barrel appears to be the original, with the sights upgraded to a commercial front ramp sight & a Lyman adjustable receiver sight. Bore is very good. Stock carries a Bishop plastic buttplate. Detachable sling swivels. A very nice sporterized or custom military to hunter conversion. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
