Sporterized Rifle, Built from a Carl Gustaf Stads Gevarsfaktori M1896, CAL: 6.5x55 Swedish, MFG: 1916 (action), SN: 69582, Bolt Action Rifle, 28'' Round barrel. WWI era rifle. The upgraded cheeked & capped pistol grip Mannlicher style walnut stock is excellent, with very few minor contusions, nicks or handling marks to the stock's finish. The metal blue finish rates 80% overall. The barrel appears to be the original, having been shortened & with the rear sight barrel band removed. The rifle now carries a Williams side mounted receiver sight & a carbine style blade on box front sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a sold Fajen plastic buttplate. A nicely sporterized or custom military to hunter conversion. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
