Sporterized Rifle, Built from a Ludwig Loewe of Berlin 1891 Argentine Mauser, CAL: 7.65x53, MFG: 1896 (action), SN: N5110, Bolt Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel. The upgraded cheeked & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock is excellent, with some minor contusions or scratches to the added coat of finish over the stock's original finish. The metal surfaces carry 70% of the original blue & original markings or stampings, except where the crest was buffed off the receiver band by the Argentine government & cold blue touched-up which is toned brown. The receiver, barrel, bolt handle & magazine floorplate all carry matching SN's. The original barrel was cut & a replacement box blade front sight was added. Original flip-up slide adjusting ladder rear sight. Bore is very good. Stock carries a Bishop plastic buttplate. Sling studs. Given a second life as sporterized hunting rifle.
