Sporterized Rifle, Built from an Oviedo 1916 Mauser, CAL: 7mm, MFG: 1916-30's (action), SN: D3846, Bolt Action Rifle, 21'' Original round barrel. Likely WWI era rifle. The upgraded cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock is very good, with few minor contusions or handling marks to the stock's finish. The metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a developing brown patina. The original barrel has been shortened & with the open sights removed. The top of the receiver has open holes where a scope was once mounted. Bore is good, but dark with strong rifling. Stock carries a sold Fajen plastic buttplate. Sling swivels. Modified bolt handle to a swept back position. A sporterized or custom military to hunter conversion giving the rifle a second life. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
