Remington, Model 14, (PARTS RIFLE), .30 REM Cal., MFG. 1920, SN:76058, Pump Auction Take-down Rifle. 22'' round barrel. The pistol grip stock appears to be a model 141 replacement & is good & solid. There are however, two 1.5'' stress cracks at the right side of wrist. The original forearm is very good. There are small handling marks & light contusions. The original metal finish has worn mostly gray, with some remains of original blue & a thin brown patina. The left side of the receiver has three open holes, likely from a previous scope mounting, needs filler screws. Bore is good. Barrel carries a ramp front sight, with an open dovetail & extra slot from the original rear wheel sight missing. Stock carries a replaced plastic buttplate. Action is frozen, with bolt stuck to the rear of the receiver. Don't know why, but there maybe some additional missing non-visible internal parts which might restrict normal function once action is unstuck. Therefore, we recommend this rifle be examined & repaired by a gunsmith before attempting to operate. Thus, this rifle is being sold as a parts rifle & is therefore being sold ''AS-IS'', with NO RETURNS! FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
