Winchester, Model 1890, Third Variation, CAL: 22 WRF, MFG: 1915, SN: 571742, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stock & corncob forend are very good & solid. The stocks show thinning, small scratches & contusions to the original finish. There are 2'' tight hairline cracks in the wrist of the stock emanating from both the upper & lower tangs, no diminished strength. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with remnants of blue in protected areas & a thin brown patina developing. Bore rates good, but with spotty areas of cleaned rust pitting or scarring. The barrel holds an adjustable rear & front long blade sights. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. An original example in the WRF caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
