Remington, Model 12CS, .22 REM SPECIAL, MFG. 1909-36, SN: 635382, Pump Rifle, Take-down, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid after a glued stress crack at the top of the wrist & a couple of very short & tight hairline cracks emanating from the end of the lower tang. There is also a small wood chip at left lower corner of the wrist that was glued back into place. The stocks were sanded & stained a very dark walnut tone, likely at the time of those repairs. There are some minor handling marks or contusions remaining. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with some splotchy areas of brown patina or staining. Bore has fair rifling amongst pitting & scarring. Fitted with standard front & rear sights. Original crescent metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
