Remington, Model 12A, .22 S.L. & LR, MFG. 1909-36, SN:158387, Pump Rifle, Take-down, 22'' round barrel. The straight grip wood stocks are fair & solid, having been sanded below the metal & refinished. The stock has amateur checkering & 3 stress cracks at the wrist of the stock. There are other minor handling marks & some paint spots to the finish. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gray, with a thin brown patina. Fitted with standard rear & front sights. Bore is fair. Replaced reproduction plastic buttplate, which is oversized to the wood. The bolt & sliding mechanism do slide back & forth, but the rifle appears to be missing some internal parts which likely restrict it from functioning properly. It is also missing the mag plunger. We are not gunsmiths, but we recommend this rifle be examined & repaired by a gunsmith before attempting to operate. Thus this rifle is being sold as a parts rifle & is therefore being sold ''AS-IS'', with NO RETURNS. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 200
