Winchester, Model 99 ''Thumb Trigger'', CAL: 22 Short & Long, MFG: 1904-23, SN: NSN, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' barrel. The straight grip wood stock is solid but a fairly rough cut replacement. The stock was not fully sanded smooth before finishing & there are also several contusions, scratches & scrapes. The metal blue finish has fully toned to a brown patina. Bore is fair to poor, with scarring & pitting amongst some visible rifle. The barrel holds a standard notch dovetail rear & blade front sights. Stock carries the original plastic buttplate, with engraved screws. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 200
