Winchester, Model 1900, CAL: .22 SHORT& LONG, MFG: 1900-01, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 17 1/2'' Round tapered barrel. The original wood stock is good & solid, after a glued crack repair that ran from the tip back through the trigger guard. There is also a thigh stress crack on the left side from the forend screw to the wrist & another tight 3'' stress crack on the top of wrist. The stock lightly sanded after the glued crack repairs & refinished, but still displaying several minor contusions & handling marks. The metal has a blue/brown hand applied finish with 80% coverage. The bore is poor, with lots of scarring & cleaned pitting amongst worn thin rifling. Barrel carries a small fixed rear & small blade front sights. Buttstock carries no buttplate, which is correct for this model. Rifle does present well. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 200
