Mossberg, Model: 46A, Cal: .22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1938-39, S/N: None, Bolt action rifle, 26'' barrel. The cheeked & flat pistol grip, walnut stock is excellent, with only a couple minor contusions or marks to the original finish. The original metal blue finish has almost full coverage (90%), but the barrel is starting to tone plum/gray. The bore is excellent. The receiver is fitted with a fully adjustable Mossberg marked peep sight, while the barrel holds a U-notch leaf rear & a wide blade front sights. The stock carries a grooved, blued steel buttplate.
