The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 11, .22 LR , MFG: 1901-03, SN: NONE, Pivot Barrel Single Shot Rifle, 8'' round barrel. 30 3/4'' overall length. The model 11 is simply the model 7 with a thin, board-like walnut stock with rounded edges. The departure from the all-metal skeleton frame was solely due to dealer demand. The thin walnut stock on this example is excellent, even retaining the rarely found manufacturers cartouche stamping on the left side of the stock. There are minor nicks, scrapes & light scratches to the original finish. The rifle retains about 70% of the original nickel finish, with spotty areas of loss, rust pitting & speckling. The steel rolled barrel has the original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is good & clean, but with smoothed rifling. Integral blade front sight & stamped non-adjustable rear sight. Original thin metal buttplate. Even rarer than the model 7, with only 21,860 produced. An excellent & rare example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
