The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 11, .22 , MFG: 1901-03, SN: NONE, Pivot Barrel Single Shot Rifle, 8'' round barrel. 30 3/4'' overall length. The model 11 is simply the model 7 with a thin, board-like walnut stock with rounded edges. The departure from the all-metal skeleton frame was solely due to dealer demand. The thin walnut stock on this example is very good, having been lightly sanded & nicely refinished. There are minor scratches, scrapes & light contusions to the stock. The rifle retains remnants of the original nickel finish in more protected areas, with brass & steel showing in most areas & some rust pitting & speckling. The steel rolled barrel has the original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is poor, rough, with smoothed rifling & a bulge about mid barrel. Integral blade front sight & stamped non-adjustable rear sight. Original cast metal buttplate. Even rarer than the model 7, with only 21,860 produced. A rare example that presents well. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
