C.J Hamilton & Sons Model 39, .22 SHORT, MFG: 1922-30, SN: NONE, Pump Action Rifle, 16'' barrel. 35'' overall length. This is the only repeating rifle manufactured by Hamilton. The tubular magazine holding 15 cartridges. The wood stocks are good & solid, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There is a small chip at the retention screw of the forearm. There are also other small contusions & scratches. Metal blue finish has worn to a gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina. Steel rolled barrel, with original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is good, but with smoothing rifling. Barrel fitted with open adjustable rear & standard front sight. Original thin metal buttplate. A surviving example of this rare pump Hamilton. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 120 to 250
