C.J Hamilton & Sons Model 43, 22 CAL L & S, MFG: 1924-32, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 16'' round tapered barrel. 35'' overall length. Similar to the model 23, with a top loading port. The straight grip board type walnut stock is very good, with original finish. It displays a small chip at the toe, with several minor contusions & surface blemishes. Original metal blue finish rates 75%, with lots of rust speckling & light pitting. The steel rolled barrel carries the original brass liner, which has a very good bore. 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16''. Factory blade front & fixed rear sight. Carries no buttplate, which was factory. ''S'' shaped trigger guard. Replaced bolt handle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 125 to 250
